Couple claims Premier Pools & Spas did not install pool to specifications

GRETNA – A couple is seeking damage amid allegations that their swimming pool was not built to specification.

Sheryl and Billy Cato filed a lawsuit Aug. 2 against SPS Services LLC, doing business as Premier Pools & Spa, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs signed a contract on May 25, 2017 for the installation of a pool. The lawsuit claims that throughout the construction process, the defendant failed to complete the job in a workmanlike manner, including failing to complete the job to the specifications agreed upon.

The plaintiffs are seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. They are represented by Robert Harvey Sr. in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.
