GRETNA – A food equipment company is seeking more than $4,300 in sums due.

Farrel A. Prince, dba J&J Commercial Food Equipment LLC, filed a suit Aug. 6 against French America Line, dba Great Northern & Southern Navigation Co. LLC, French America Line in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $4,365.65 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay for services issued by the plaintiff despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph Harvin of The Harvin Law Firm in Slidell.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn Ansardi.
