Louisiana Community and Technical College System seeks $3,308.06 in past due bill

NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking more than $3,000.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System, through Delgado Community College, filed a lawsuit on Aug. 7 against Christopher Boozer, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking damages of $3,308.06 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off an account. The defendant is accused of sums due.


The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge D. Nicole Sheppard.
