GRETNA – A man is seeking more than $15,000 in damages from an alleged breach of contract.
David Jeansonne filed a lawsuit August 16 against Reef Geeks LLC and Gavin Moecklin in the 24th Judicial District Court.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place in the fall of 2017 when the plaintiff and defendant agreed on the purchase and installation of a saltwater aquarium. The suit claims the defendants were paid $15,964.92 to manage the care of the aquarium. The defendants, however, have allegedly failed to honor the agreement.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. He is represented by Jarred Trauth of Jones Walker LLP in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.
