GRETNA – A man is seeking damages alleging that he fell in a Wendy's Restaurant.
Larry Summerall filed the lawsuit on Aug. 17 against Hava Foods of Louisiana LLC, doing business as Wendy's, in the 24th Judicial District Court. He alleges negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident on June 2, at the Wendy's Restaurant, at 7021 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Summerall claimed to slip and fall on a "substance" left on the floor. He is claiming severe injuries, after falling in the drink area of the restaurant.
The defendant is accused of negligence. The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Thomas A. Gennusa II of Gennusa, Piacun & Ruli in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
