NEW ORLEANS – American Express is seeking $52,123.57 plus interest from a customer, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off his debt.
American Express National Bank filed the lawsuit on Aug. 15 against Stuart Schmidt, also known as Stuart T. Schmidt, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Edward F. Bukaty III in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
