GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a slip and fall.

Sallie Davis filed a suit Aug. 22 against Moran Foods LLC, dba Save-A-Lot, and UniFirst Corp. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Sept. 22, 2017 when the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall at the defendant's property at 601 Terry Parkway.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward Womac Jr. of the Law Offices of Edward J. Womac Jr & Associates LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond Steib Jr.
