From Lugenbuhl’s New Orleans headquarters, shareholder Elia Diaz-Yaeger has been re-elected to a second term as Vice President of Sections and Committees for the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA).
A devoted member of the HNBA, Elia also serves as the CLE chair for its 2018 Annual Convention, set for Sept. 5-8 in Philadelphia. Since joining the HNBA Board of Governors in 2011, she has worked to advocate for the Hispanic community and strengthen the networks for latino/a attorneys, and she has created numerous opportunities for scholarships and mentoring for Hispanic law students.
Locally, she was instrumental in recruiting Hispanic attorneys and judges from throughout the nation through her role as former co-chair of the HNBA Annual Corporate Counsel Conference and Moot Court Competition, which was held in New Orleans in 2001.
