Lawsuits
Wrongful term 12

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after her teaching contract was terminated.

Ashley Zeno filed a complaint on Aug. 30 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Concordia Lutheran School.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place in 2017 when the plaintiff entered into employment for the defendant. The suit states that on Sept. 1, 2017, the plaintiff was told that her contract was being cancelled, but this decision was not backed up by any misconduct of the plaintiff or any action that would call for a spontaneous termination of employment.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bryce Murray of Big Easy Law Group LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee Faulkner Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 787175.
