Capital One is seeking damages for more than $50,000

GRETNA – Capital One is seeking more than $50,000 from a customer.

Capital One filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in the 24th Judicial District Court against RPM Automotive Specialist LLC and Ruel Smith.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due in the sum of $50,496.12 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley Chauvin of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 787039.
