A credit union alleges customers owe more than $9,000

GRETNA –– A credit union says a couple failed to pay off a credit card.

Eagle Louisiana Federal Credit Union filed a complaint on Aug. 5 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Nathan P. Roubion and Shawna Childress Roubion.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a credit card, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $9,981.22.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by W. Michael Stemmans of Stemmans & Alley in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
