University of New Orleans claims former student owes over $500

GRETNA – A university is seeking over $500 from a former student.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a complaint on Sept. 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Jordan Paul Tornabene.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $573.01 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due for attending the plaintiff's institution.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony Winters of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 787624.
