University of New Orleans is seeking more than $3,200

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking more than $3,200 in sums due.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a complaint on Sept. 14 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Sheereen Ara Siddiqui.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $3,223.27 plus interest alleging that the defendant was negligent in paying the balance due.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Anthony Winters of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher Bruno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-9277.
