University of New Orleans claims former student owes sums due

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking more than $1,300 in sums due.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a complaint on Sept. 14  in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Tyren Jones.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due of $1,364.54.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Amy Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher Bruno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-9284.
