NEW ORLEANS – A couple is seeking damages alleging that an injury was caused due to a property's condition.
Lindsay Polk and Courtney Polk filed a complaint on Sept. 7 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Steven Jackson and XYZ Insurance Co.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on June 12, when the plaintiff was caused to fall through the floor at 8320 Nelson St. in New Orleans.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Mesa Jefferson in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge D. Nicole Sheppard.
