GRETNA –– A mortgage company says a Jefferson Parish woman failed to pay on a home loan.
Nationstar Mortgage LLC, which does business as Champion Mortgage Company, filed a complaint on June 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Doris Fairburn Morello.
According to the complaint, the defendant failed to pay off an outstanding balance of $140,144.50 plus interest.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Penny M. Daigrepont of Shapiro & Daigrepont LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
