Woman alleges that she was injured in fall at Walmart

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages, alleging that Walmart created a dangerous situation.

Deborah C. Hingle filed a complaint on Sept. 18 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Walmart Louisiana LLC, Walmart Inc., and XYZ Insurance Co.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Sept. 21, 2017 when the plaintiff was injured at a Walmart at 1501 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey due to a slip and fall on a wet flooring surface.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Carlos Ramirez of Irpino, Avin & Hawkins Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael Mentz.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 787734.
