Bank of America seeks over $57,000 on past-due mortgage

NEW ORLEANS – Bank of America is seeking over $57,000 from a customer.

Bank of America filed a complaint on Oct. 2 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Keyshaun Danielle Butler.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a mortgage in the balance of $57,754.27 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the monthly fees due.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jason Smith of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette Irons.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-9886.
