GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $160,000.
Gulf Coast Bank and Trust filed a complaint on Oct. 9 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ekim Enterprises LLC.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $163,108.87 plus interest on a mortgage.
The defendant is accused of sums due on a property.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Wayne Maiorana Jr. of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
