Customer alleges she was caused to slip and fall in a Target

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged slip and fall in a Target.

Lauren Russo filed a complaint on Oct. 17 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Target Corporation of Minnesota.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident which took place on April 7, 2018 when the plaintiff was at the defendant's location at 4500 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie. The plaintiff alleges that she was caused to slip and fall in the restroom due to liquid on the ground.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Adam Stumpf of Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Murray, Recile, Stakelum & Hayes LLP in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
