State seeks over $108,000 from unpaid disaster relief loan

GRETNA – The state of Louisiana is seeking more than $108,000.

The State of Louisiana Division of Administration, Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit filed a complaint on Oct. 22 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Chad Hollingsworth.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $108,062.67 plus interest, alleging the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Alexander Bukaty in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 788822.
