NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking more than $3,500.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Northwestern State University filed a complaint on Oct. 16 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Tessa Anderson.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging the defendant has failed to pay off a balance of $3,500.30 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Melvin Zeno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-10406.
