GRETNA – A couple is seeking damages, alleging that the driver of a Rolls-Royce was responsible for a car accident.
Andrew Dant and Dawn Dant filed a complaint on Oct. 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Zurich American Insurance Co., Robert H. Dupre and Rolls-Royce Marine North America Inc.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Dec. 12, 2017 when the plaintiff was struck by defendant who was driving and failed to keep a watchful eye.
The defendant is accused of reckless driving.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher Sherwood of the Law Offices of Warren A. Forstall in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
