GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged slip and fall in a casino.
Cassandra Fields filed a complaint on Oct. 25 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Grand's Palace Casino LLC, dba Kenner Airport Casino, and ABC Insurance Co.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on March 15 when the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on a wet floor.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Luc Zeller in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.
