Woman alleges her car was stuck by a driver for Israelite Baptist Church

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages, alleging her car was struck by a driver for a church.

Blanca Vega filed a complaint on Oct. 29 in the 24th Judicial District Court against National Liability & Fire Insurance Co., Israelite Baptist Church of New Orleans, and George Barnes.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for negligence. The suit states the plaintiff was a passenger in a car on Nov. 1, 2017, that was struck by the defendant who was negligent and not paying attention to the road.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Darryl Breaux of Darryl Breaux & Associates in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 788996.
