The state of Louisiana sues for more than $12,000

GRETNA – The state of Louisiana Division of Administration Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit filed a complaint on Nov. 5 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Roycelyn Dupart.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off a balance of $12,152.66, plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John C. Walsh of Shows, Cali & Walsh LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
