University of New Orleans seeks over $1,900 on open account

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking damages for over $1,900.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a complaint on Nov. 2  in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Olivia Alyce Boutte.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages sums due for the balance of $1,978.83 plus interest, alleging that the defendant was negligent.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge D. Nicole Sheppard. 

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-11045.
