A woman alleges that she slipped and fell in an Applebee's

GRETNA – Lois Darensbourg filed a complaint on Nov. 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Applebee's, seeking damages after she allegedly slipped and fell at the restaurant.

The plaintiff was at an Applebee's on Nov. 11, 2017, when she went to the restroom. The plaintiff claims that when she entered the restroom, she allegedly slip and fell on the slippery floor, injuring herself. The plaintiff was so injured that she was unable to get up, according to the lawsuit.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Demetrie Ford of The Ford Law Firm LLC in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
