NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking more than $1,000 in sums due.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Cameron E. Creighton.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $1,052.64 plus interest. The defendant has allegedly failed to pay off the balance since he attended the institution in the Spring 2017 semester.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-11352.
