Riverland Federal Credit Union says borrower owes over $12,000

GRETNA –A credit union is seeking more than $12,000 in sums due.

Riverland Federal Credit Union filed a complaint on Nov. 15 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Terry F. St. Blanc.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $12,034.89 plus interest. After amicable demands from the plaintiff, the defendant has still failed to pay off the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Sean Dawson of Stephenson, Chavarri & Dawson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789577.
