Riverland Federal Credit Union seeks over $14,000 in sums due

GRETNA – A credit union is seeking over $14,000.

Riverland Federal Credit Union filed a complaint on Nov. 15 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Tobisha Bullock.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $14,682.65 plus interest to the plaintiff. Despite amicable demand, the defendant has still remained negligent for the sums due owed to the plaintiff. In addition to the sum due, the plaintiff is also seeking payment of $373.58 in interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Sean Dawson of Stephenson, Chavarri & Dawson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789576.
