Hancock Whitney Bank seeks legal action on loan of over $39,000

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $39,000 in sums due.

Hancock Whitney Bank filed a complaint on Sept. 10 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Russan M. Brown.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a vehicle. The suit states that the defendant has is indebted for the balance of $39,841.79 plus interest after failing to keep up with monthly installment payments on a vehicle.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Benjamin Chauvin of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 787467.
