GRETNA – Wells Fargo Bank filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ronald James Dubois Jr., alleging that the defendant owes more than $177,000 on a past-due mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking damages for an unpaid balance on a mortgage. The suit states that the defendant has failed to keep up with payments on a property, according to court documents.

The plaintiff has made amicable demands but to no avail, the lawsuit alleges. The defendant still remains negligent in the sums due of $177,224.19 plus an interest of 3.75% per year until paid, according to the lawsuit. The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Candace Miers Bowen of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
