Wells Fargo sues to settle past-due mortgage

GRETNA -- Wells Fargo Bank filed a complaint on Nov. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Anthony D. Marino to collect on an unpaid balance on a mortgage.

The suit states that the defendant has failed to keep up with payments on a property. The plaintiff has made amicable demands but to no avail. The defendant still remains negligent for a total of $109,541.65 plus an interest of 6.25 percent per year until paid.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Candace Miers Bowen of Dean Morris in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
