One Main Financial Group seeks over $1,800 in sums due

NEW ORLEANS – A finance group is seeking over $1,800.

One Main Financial Group LLC, successor by merger to One Main Financial Services Inc, successor by merger to Springleaf Financial Services of Louisiana Inc., as servicer for Wilmington Trust N.A. as issuer loan trustee for Springleaf Funding Trust 2015-A filed a complaint on Nov. 15 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Chinika N. Allen.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a promissory note. The suit states the defendant has remained negligent in the balance due, despite amicable demands from the plaintiff. The defendant is indebted to the plaintiff in the balance of $1,817.46 plus interest of 25 percent.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a promissory note.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Naomi Cohn Ivker of Zarzaur and Schwartz in Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-11497.
