Autovest says borrower is in default on loan of over $8,800

GRETNA – An LLC is seeking more than $8,800 in sums due.

Autovest LLC, assignee of GFC Lending LLC, filed a complaint on Nov. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Joshua Aubrey Thompson.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account the defendant has failed to pay off in the form of credit for the purchase of a vehicle.The suit states the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff the balance owed for services delivered. Currently, the defendant is indebted for the balance of $8,808.13 plus interest. The plaintiff has made amicable demand but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph Fick Jr. of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789636.
