Woman claims electrical work was performed negligently

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages alleging that various components of her home were installed incorrectly.

Peggy Deloney filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Josepn Hermo, Barry Hebert, Sunrise Contracting LLC and SL Carwash LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place in the plaintiff's home located at 6756 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans beginning in March 2017. The suit states the defendant was negligent in a number of services they completed at the plaintiff's home, including electrical work, which left the plaintiff inconvenienced and in need of repairs. The plaintiff is seeking damages for the negligence of the defendant.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Corey Dunbar Pivach, Pivach, Hufft, Thriffiley & Dunbar LLC in Belle Chasse.
