GRETNA – A man is seeking damages for an incident in which he claims a doctor acted negligently.
Gregory Plaia filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Timothy Devrai, M.D. of the Ochsner Clinic Foundation.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place beginning on Dec. 13, 2013 when the plaintiff was injured in a work-related incident. The plaintiff claims was not treated as he ought to have been and was caused further suffering through the medical malpractice of the defendant.
The defendant is accused of medical malpractice.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey Mitchell of Mitchell Sanchez LLC in Metairie.
