GRETNA – Capital One is seeking more than $54,000 from a negligent customer.
Capital One filed a complaint on Nov. 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Arnoldo M. Smith, dba A. Smith Painting.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant has become indebted for a balance and has failed to pay it off. The plaintiff is seeking $54,362.95 plus costs related to the suit. The plaintiff has made amicable demand but to no avail.
