GRETNA – A collection agency is seeking over $700.
Jefferson Capital Systems LLC filed a complaint on Nov. 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Deneen C. Labat.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant has been negligent in paying off a balance due that is owed to the plaintiff. The plaintiff is currently seeking damages for the amount of $788.17 plus interest which was left of a Metabank account. The plaintiff has made amicable demands but to no avail.
The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jason Patrick of Rausch Sturm in Enterprise, Alabama.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
