GRETNA – The state of Louisiana is seeking sums due of more than $67,500.

The State of Louisiana Division of Administration Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit filed a complaint on in the 24th Judicial District Court against Timothy Williams, aka Timothy Lawrence, and Michelle Williams, aka Michal Encalade Williams.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid account. The suit states that the defendant was lent a grant from the plaintiff for certain repairs on their property. According to the terms of the agreement, the defendant was required to pay the balance back to the plaintiff. However, the defendant has remained negligent in the balance due. The plaintiff is seeking $37,500 in sums due plus addition fees of $30,000.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Mary Catherine Cali of Shows, Cali & Walsh LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael Mentz.
