GRETNA – Capital One is seeking more than $2,900 in sums due.

Capital One Bank filed a complaint on Dec. 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Carrington H. Trahan.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant has remained negligent on a balance due to the plaintiff. The plaintiff is allegedly seeking sums due for $2,937.46, claiming that the defendant failed in their responsibility to reimburse the plaintiff for the balance accumulated. Despite amicable demand, the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Laura Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
