Louisiana FCU is seeking more than $1,000 in sums due

GRETNA – A credit union is seeking more than $1,000 in sums due.

Louisiana Federal Credit Union filed a complaint on Dec. 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Joel U. Williams.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance on an account. The plaintiff is seeking $1,071.07 plus interest, and claims that despite amicable demand being made, the plaintiff has not been paid the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph Mouton II of D'Aquila, Contreras & Vega in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
