GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a fall at a Regions Bank.

Cynthia M. Brown filed a complaint on Dec. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Regions Bank, Causeway Partners LLC and Kailas Companies LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Feb. 2. The plaintiff alleges she was exiting the Regions Bank at 3525 North Causeway Blvd. in Metairie when she was caused to trip on a dangerous surface. The plaintiff claims the defendant was negligent in failing to remedy the condition and that there should have been a warning of it.

The defendant is accused of negligence and failure to take the appropriate measures of safety.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert David of Gainsburgh, Benjamin, David, Meunier & Warshauer LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
