TAYLOR PORTER BROOKS & PHILLIPS LLP: Six Taylor Porter Attorneys to Serve as Lead Presenters at BRBA CLE By The Hour

Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips LLP issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.

Six Taylor Porter attorneys will serve as presenters at the annual Baton Rouge Bar Association "CLE By the Hour" seminar event, to be held at the Renaissance BR Hotel on Dec. 6-7, 13-14, and 27-28.

The end-of-the-year continuing legal education seminar enables attorneys to earn last-minute and required credits all in one destination by supplying a total of 42 possible CLE credit hours, including substantive law topics, Ethics, Professionalism and Law Practice Management over six days in December.

The BRBA offers more than 75 hours of CLE each year in a variety of practice areas.

Taylor Porter speakers and their respective practice area topic discussions will include:

-"Updates in Sports Law" by Bob Barton and Trey Tumminello, Dec. 6, 11:30 a.m.

-"Don't Be That Lawyer: Ethics in 2018" by Mike Walsh, Dec. 6, 2:40 p.m.

-"Insurance Update" and "Ethics" by Skip Philips, Dec. 13, 11:30 a.m., and Dec. 27, 1:30 p.m.

-"Ethics of Jury Selection" by Amy Groves Lowe, Dec. 27, 8 a.m.

-"The Medicare Secondary Payer Act: Common Mistakes and Tips for Compliance" by Barrye Miyagi, Dec. 27, 11:30 a.m.
