Lawyer claims he is owed $25,000 for work he delivered

GRETNA – A lawyer is seeking $25,000 from a customer whom he claims has failed to pay.

William J. Luscy III filed a complaint on Dec. 10 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Robert R. Emery.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid account. The suit states that the defendant was rendered services by the plaintiff but has not paid $25,000 in sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid balance owed.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William Luscy III in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
