Auto financing company claims it is owed more than $20,000 from a customer who was negligent in an auto loan

GRETNA – A credit company is seeking more than $20,000 in sums due.

Credit Acceptance Corp. filed a complaint on Dec. 10 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Carnell Pierre.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff claims the defendant has failed to pay off a balance owed on a retail installment contract for a 2014 Honda Accord. The plaintiff is seeking the balance of $20,512.06 plus interest, and claims that despite making amicable demand, the defendant has failed to pay.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward Bukaty III in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond Steib Jr.
