Crescent Bank seeks over $20,000 on open account

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $20,000 on an open account.

Crescent Bank and Trust filed a complaint on Dec. 12 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Welton Chestnutt.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The plaintiff is seeking payment in the sum of $20,142.51 plus interest of $537.64, for a total of $20,680.15. The plaintiff claims it has made amicable demand, but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward Bukaty III in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.
