Capital One seeks more than $5,500 on an open account

GRETNA – Capital One is seeking more than $5,500 in sums due from a customer who allegedly failed to pay off a debt.

Capital One Bank filed a complaint on Dec. 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Virginia C. Casanova.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the plaintiff is seeking $5,586.49 plus interest on the account. The plaintiff has sought amicable demand but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Charles Dismukes of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
