Gulf Coast Bank and Trust claims customer owes over $139,000 on unpaid mortgage

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $139,000 in sums due on a mortgage.

Gulf Coast Bank and Trust filed a complaint on Dec. 17 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Lowell Kyle Schauble and Kimberly Dauzat Schauble.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a mortgage. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off a balance owed to the plaintiff. The plaintiff is seeking the balance of $139,745.61 plus interest on a mortgage. Despite the demand from the plaintiff, the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due in addition to 18 percent due per year.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid mortgage sum.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Wayne Maiorana Jr. of Newman, Mathis & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.
